This last incarnation of Honda’s long-surviving supercar, dubbed NSX-R GT, was developed for racing homologation purposes in Japan and will be limited to a run of just five cars costing around £250,000. The engine remains the same – a 280bhp 3.2-litre V6 sending its power to the rear wheels. However, the body has been heavily reworked with a huge front air dam, a larger cooling duct ahead of the rear wheels, a towering rear wing and an odd-looking air box that rises from the rear window to provide added cooling to the engine bay – all in carbon fibre to keep the weight as low as possible.
