The Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 is the ultimate evolution of Audi’s Group B rally program, introduced in late 1985 as a radical update to the Sport Quattro S1. Famous for its aggressive, wind-tunnel-tuned aerodynamic package—featuring a massive rear wing and a distinctive front "snowplow" spoiler—the E2 was designed to generate immense downforce to keep the car planted on rally stages. Power came from a turbocharged 2.1-liter inline-5 engine that officially produced around 470–500 hp, though later tuning saw outputs exceed 600 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in roughly 3.1 seconds on gravel. It remains an icon of the Group B era, most notably driven by Walter Röhrl, who famously piloted it to victory at the 1987 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb shortly after Group B was banned.
